No eviction after vacation rentals in social housing a...

A woman who rented out her social housing apartment using AirBnB, does not has to evict her home. Housing Association Rochdale had demanded her to evict, but the court rejected this. The reason for this rejection is that Rochdale put the woman to impermissible pressure. Earlier in May, a man was evicted out of his social housing apartment after he subletted his house for 130 days. Besides, he had to pay a fine of 7500 euros and the litigation of 10.000 euros. The woman rented out her property for a short amount of time. According to the court, there was no nuisance and there is no indication that she won't fulfil her financial obligation to Rochdale.
