IMF advises reformation of Dutch rental market

The Netherlands can help the housing market by reform the rental market, according to the IMF. They point to the big role of social housing apartments and many rules around rent. According to the IMG, the offerings of rental properties will increase in a freer market. The rental market will be more accesible and attractive. The debt of Dutch homeowners is the highest of all countries investigated by the IMF. This debt lowers consumer spendings and economic growth.
