AMSTERDAM - The rental income is bad for the approach of the social distribution of properties in disadvantaged neighborhoods.

Because corporations have only very limited social housing may be assigned to households with an income higher than 33 thousand euro, created in disadvantaged neighborhoods with higher concentration of disadvantaged households with low incomes.

This is evident Thursday from research that is held on behalf of fourteen Aedes housing corporations and trade association. The impact of the rental income on the composition of neighborhoods has not been previously investigated.
It was assumed that the measure on the one hand, people with high incomes in the neighborhoods would stop, but those on the other side also would prevent their social housing to leave.
